[Original 25/11]: Estando disponivel para Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, será no dia 3 de Dezembro em que o "quarto" título da franchise Grand Theft Auto IV será lançado para PC na Europa (2 de Dezembro nos Estados Unidos), uma versão que irá ter alguns melhoramentos em relação às versões para consolas tanto no grafismo como na jogabilidade, alguns extras como um editor de videos (alguns videos na entrada expandida) e ainda novos modos multi-jogador online. E recentemente, o site Steam anunciou que a versão digital do jogo já está disponivel para pré-encomenda na própria página do serviço, onde ainda poderão receber Grand Theft Auto: Vice City como um bónus. Em baixo, poderão ver os requesitos oficiais para esta versão e neste link poderão ver uma antevisão do site IGN.

E para os possuidores da versão para a Xbox 360, apartir do dia 17 de Fevereiro já poderão descarregar através do Xbox LIVE Marketplace o tão esperado primeiro conteúdo descarregável intitulado The Lost and Damned. Este primeiro episódio, cuja acção continuará em Liberty City, irá conter uma nova personagem principal com novas missões, armas, veículos e modos multi-jogador.

GRAND THEFT AUTO IV: THE LOST AND DAMNED COMING FEBRUARY 2009

Rockstar Games is proud to announce that the eagerly anticipated first episode of downloadable content, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, will be coming to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system via Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network. Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE worldwide on February 17th 2009, The Lost and Damned will feature all new content and is the first of two episodes announced for Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360.

Developed by Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, The Lost and Damned features a new main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music – all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned requires players to have the full version of Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE membership to download. Further details will be announced soon.
